Account Information
Your WiserCal account is created by our team after you submit a demo request. We collect your business name, business type, phone or WhatsApp number, and email address, along with the business details you share with us during setup.
Business and Booking Data
We store the content of your business page, your services, your team details, and your availability. When a customer books an appointment, we collect the details they provide, including their name, phone number, and any information needed to confirm the booking.
Usage and Technical Data
We automatically collect log data including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and measure product analytics.
Payment Information
For paid plans, payments are processed securely by our third-party payment provider. WiserCal does not store your full payment details. Billing information shown in your account is provided for your reference only.
How We Use Your Information
Providing the Service
We use your information to operate WiserCal, to set up and host your business page, manage your availability and booking types, confirm appointments, notify you of new bookings, and process payments.
Improving the Product
Aggregated, anonymized usage data helps us understand how people use WiserCal, identify bugs, and build new features. We never sell individual usage data.
Communications
We send transactional emails (booking confirmations and receipts) and, with your consent, product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Security and Fraud Prevention
We use data to detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions and other illegal activities, and to protect the rights and property of WiserCal and its users.
Data Retention
Active Accounts
We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at info@wisercal.com. We will process your request promptly and permanently remove your data within 30 days of confirmation.
Appointment Records
Your past appointment records are kept for as long as your account is active, so you can review your booking history at any time. If your subscription is cancelled and your account remains unsubscribed for 6 consecutive months, these records may be permanently removed. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
Legal Obligations
Some data may be retained longer where required by applicable law, such as financial records for tax compliance, which we retain for 7 years.
Your Rights
Access and Portability
You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you at any time. We will provide it in a structured, machine-readable format within 30 days.
Correction
You may correct inaccurate personal data directly in your account settings or by contacting our support team.
Deletion
You may request that we delete your personal data. We will comply promptly except where retention is required by law or legitimate business necessity.
Data Rights
WiserCal serves service businesses in Pakistan. Where applicable law in your region grants you additional rights over your personal data, such as the right to object to or restrict processing, you may exercise them by contacting us at info@wisercal.com, and we will respond within 30 days.
