Who Is Responsible For What
Business Owners
If you hold a WiserCal account, we decide how your account data is handled and we are responsible for it directly. Any question about it comes to us at info@wisercal.com.
Customers Who Book An Appointment
If you booked an appointment with a business that uses WiserCal, we store your details on behalf of that business. The business decides what it collects and how it uses it. We only process it to run the booking. Please contact the business directly about its own use of your data, and contact us if you cannot reach them.
Information We Collect
Account Information
Your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored securely, so we never hold the plain text and cannot recover it. We also store your account state, including your plan, whether your email is verified, and the date you subscribed.
Business Page Content
Your business name, description, page address, phone number, physical address, timezone, services, short bios, and links to your Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok profiles. We also store your availability and booking types.
Booking Data
When a customer books an appointment, we collect their name and email address, their timezone, an optional note, and their answers to any custom questions the business added to its booking form. We store the appointment time and the meeting link or address. A business can add its own questions to a booking form. If a business asks for sensitive information there, that is the business's decision and its responsibility.
Demo Requests
If you request a demo, we collect your business name, business type, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number.
How We Use Your Information
Running The Service
We use your information to create and run your account and your business page, to take bookings, to send booking confirmations and cancellations, to verify your email address and let you reset your password, and to respond to a demo request.
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Server Location
Your account data, business page content, and booking records are stored on servers located in Germany, provided by Hostinger. Although WiserCal serves businesses in Pakistan, your data is held in the European Union.
International Transfers
Because our servers and our email provider operate outside Pakistan, your personal data is transferred internationally and may be processed in the European Union, the United States, and other countries where these providers operate. By using WiserCal, you consent to these transfers.
How Long We Keep It
While Your Account Is Open
We keep your account and business page data for as long as your account is open. Appointment records are kept for as long as your account is open, so you can review your booking history.
Demo Requests
We keep demo requests until we have dealt with the request and any follow-up.
Deletion
Ask us to delete your data at info@wisercal.com and we will remove it within 30 days, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation.
Security
How We Protect Your Data
Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form. Traffic between your browser and WiserCal is encrypted with TLS. Access to production data is limited to the WiserCal team members who need it.
No Absolute Guarantee
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
Access, Correction, And Deletion
At any time you can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, correct your details from your dashboard or ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete your account and data. Email info@wisercal.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If You Booked With A Business
If you are a customer who booked with a business on WiserCal, contact that business first, because it controls its own booking records. We will help if you cannot reach them.
Children
Not For Children
WiserCal is for businesses and is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
Changes To This Policy
How We Notify You
We will post any change on this page and update the date shown at the top. Material changes will be notified by email to account holders. Questions about this policy can be sent to info@wisercal.com.
