What we collect
Account
Your name, email address, hashed password, plan, and whether your email is verified. A single session cookie keeps you logged in.
Business
What you show on your business page: services, availability, booking types, contact details, etc. We may set this up for you initially, but you manage it and are responsible for what it contains.
Bookings
When a customer books, we store their name, phone number, email address if given, any note or answers to the business's own questions, and the appointment details. Customers are saved as contacts in the business's dashboard; what the business asks for and how it uses it is the business's responsibility.
Demo requests
If you request a demo, we collect your business name, business type, email address, and phone or WhatsApp number.
Payments
When you pay an invoice, we store the receipt you upload (a photo, screenshot or PDF of your bank transfer) and any transaction ID you enter, and use them only to confirm the payment. Photos are resized and stripped of location and camera data before they are stored.
Usage
We record which pages and features are used in the dashboard and on booking pages, with browser and device type and approximate location. Our server logs record the IP address of each request, which we use to limit and investigate abuse. If something breaks we receive an error report, configured to exclude cookies, form contents, and account details.
What we don't collect
We never ask for card details or health records, and we collect nothing from anyone under 18. Our analytics and error monitoring set no cookies and cannot follow you across websites. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.
How we use it
To run your account and business page, take bookings and send booking emails, verify your email and reset your password, respond to demo requests, and understand how WiserCal is used so we can improve it and fix errors.
Where your data lives
Location
Your data is stored and processed in the European Union. By using WiserCal, you consent to this transfer outside Pakistan.
Providers
Vercel serves the website and counts page views, Hostinger runs our application and database, Amazon Web Services delivers email and stores uploaded payment receipts, Vemetric provides product analytics, Sentry receives error reports, and Cloudflare checks that sign in, booking and demo request forms are filled in by a person rather than an automated program. Each gets only what it needs for its purpose.
Security
Passwords are hashed, traffic is encrypted with TLS, and production access is limited to team members who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Legal requests and transfers
We may disclose information when required by law or a court order, or to protect our rights or prevent harm. If WiserCal is sold or merged, your data may transfer with it and we will tell you first.
How long we keep it
Your account, business, booking, and contact data, and your invoices with their payment receipts, are kept while your account is open. Analytics are kept for one month, error reports for 30 days, and demo requests until handled. Email info@wisercal.com to have your data deleted within 30 days, unless the law requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Account holders
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it from your dashboard, or have your account deleted by emailing info@wisercal.com. We respond within 30 days.
Customers
If you booked with a business, contact that business first; it controls its own booking and contact records. We will help if you cannot reach them.

Changes are posted here with an updated date.
